Lexington Unveils Two Immediate-Delivery Custom Homes at Woodleaf at The Sanctuary Club in Kildeer

Chicago-based Lexington Homes has completed construction of two immediate-delivery homes at Woodleaf at The Sanctuary Club

Chicago-based Lexington Homes has completed construction of two immediate-delivery homes at Woodleaf at The Sanctuary Club, a community of 26 custom and semi-custom luxury homes in north suburban Kildeer, Ill.
Served by the award-winning Stevenson High School, Woodleaf at The Sanctuary Club is located along the north side of Half Day Road (Route 22), west of Old McHenry Road and east of Quentin Road. The community offers buyers the opportunity to build their dream home on scenic home sites that either back up to mature trees or overlook Lake Kemper. Homebuyers can select from Lexington’s attractive portfolio of luxury home designs, which includes plans from three different architects, and have the option to work with the builder to make modifications to any of the floor plans or design a home from scratch.
“The beauty of building at Woodleaf at The Sanctuary Club is that because buyers can make practically any change they want to our plans, they theoretically end up with a custom home, but without the custom price,” said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes. “And now, with the completion of these two move-in ready luxury homes, buyers can own a home with the most desirable features and finishes in a much shorter time frame.”
While the layout and custom design features are different between the two immediate-delivery homes, each home includes four bedrooms and four baths with elegant open floor plans and side-loading, three-car garages. Also, both homes showcase the community’s top-of-the-line standard features, including Viking appliances, custom on-site stained and finished oak wood flooring throughout the main floor, oak stairs with oak and iron rails, and a freestanding luxury soaking tub in the master bath.

“Maintaining a custom feel and atmosphere throughout the community is key. These two immediate-delivery homes demonstrate how our semi-custom building process allows us to modify any of our floor plans and add special features and finishes to personalize every home,” said Benach. “Something as simple as a change in roof pitch can add an extra element of design to the exterior, giving the home a one-of-a-kind appearance. However, whatever home design a buyer selects, it will adhere to the high standards of appearance and use high-end elevation materials that have already been established in the community.”
One of the available homes, priced at $869,990, is a 4,138-square-foot Tudor-style home featuring a brick and stone exterior and a deep lot surrounded by mature trees. According to Benach, the thoughtful use of space throughout the home can be seen in areas like the sunny breakfast nook, walk-in kitchen pantry and expansive mudroom, all of which are conveniently designed to meet the needs of busy families with school-age children.
Additionally, the home’s expansive foyer and two-story great room, with its wood-burning fireplace with full brick chase and rich stone front, provide stunning sightlines to the home’s wooded backyard. The open floor plan provides the perfect layout for entertaining with a gourmet eat-in kitchen that connects to a dining room via a butler’s pantry. Also included on the main floor is a full bath located next to the library giving homeowners the option to easily convert the library into a nanny’s room or in-law suite.
Upstairs are four spacious bedrooms including a master suite with an expansive walk-in closet and spa-inspired master bath. Two of the bedrooms, one of which is the master suite, feature private baths while the other two bedrooms are connected by a Jack-and-Jill bath. The four bedrooms are joined by a dramatic bridge overlooking the main floor.
Also available for immediate delivery is a Craftsman-style home that features a large covered front porch, a brick and stone exterior and 3,860 square feet of living space. Priced at $939,990, the home rests on one of the community’s deepest lots and includes a walkout basement that adds more viable living space and views of the heavily wooded backyard’s natural and lush private setting.
“The details included in this home are amazing,” said Benach. “The architect thought of everything from distinctive coffered ceilings in the living and dining rooms to individualized cubbies in the mudroom to keep each family member organized.”
An oversized island with a curved serving bar in the gourmet kitchen provides plenty of extra seating while the breakfast nook that opens onto a large deck provides even more room for entertaining family and friends. Families can also comfortably congregate in the spacious family room that features a wood-burning fireplace with a full brick chase and a large bay window that overlooks the wooded backyard. Also on the main floor is a library that can be converted into a nanny’s room or in-law suite.
“The home’s connection to the outdoors continues on the second floor with a peaceful veranda off the master suite that overlooks the nearby woods,” said Benach. “This is a perfect outdoor retreat where homeowners can enjoy their morning coffee or unwind at the end of the day.”
On the second floor, along with the grand master suite, its expansive walk-in closet and master bath, are three sizable bedrooms, one of which includes its own private bath. The other two bedrooms are joined by a Jack-and-Jill bath.
