Local Fashion Boutique Opening October 4th in Lake Zurich

House of Betty Jane, a brand new women’s fashion and home decor boutique, will open to the public on Saturday, October 4th. Founded by former retail buyer, Doreen Batchelor, the concept for the location in Lake Zurich will be unlike any other boutique in the area.

“Our specialty is one-of-a-kind garments for fashion-forward women of all ages and on-trend accessories that are not available in the larger national chains and department stores across the northwest suburbs of Chicago”, Batchelor explains.

House of Betty Jane, named after the founder’s mother, will be a 1,500 sq. ft. showcase of today’s most popular seasonal fashions, resort wear and designer jeans, from brands such as Lysse and Liverpool jeans. Once you finish shopping to fill up your closet, you can outfit the rest of your home with modern and aromatic accents, including candles and artisan soaps, as well as cutting boards, throws and pillows.

Batchelor sees opening a new store this fall as necessary to our community because no two ladies are the same and a one-size-fits-all concept to style is not ideal as we embody our own unique style. “Whether you are looking for the perfect little black dress, a super-cute hostess gift or something incredibly chic to dress up your home, our warm and inviting atmosphere and friendly staff will make shopping a breeze!”
