Participants or “Shavees" show their support by shaving their heads in solidarity with children going through chemotherapy treatments, all while inspiring friends & family to donate money to support childhood cancer research.

Among the Shavees on Sunday will be three fourth Grade girls, Kayli Roe, Rosie Colucci & Josie who are among the youngest in the crowd who will be shaving their long locks off and going bald. The 9-year-olds are passionate about standing up for kids with cancer and want to do good in the world!

One inspired by the other…Rosie Colucci, is Kayli’s inspiration, Rosie has been battling brain cancer since the age of 3 and recently had to go back on chemotherapy for the forth time in her young life for a second inoperable brain tumor, treatment will take 2 years. St Baldrick’s has raised more than $100 million dollars from events just like these held all over the world.
