Creating Kids of Character: a Parenting seminar to be hosted by New Life Lutheran Church on Wednesday, November 11, 2015
On Wednesday, November 11, New Life Lutheran Church will host a parenting seminar entitled “Creating Kids of Character”.
This presentation, by Ms. Whitney Donovan (LPC, LMHC, NCC) of Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Services, will focus on building positive life skills and help to promote character values in students from a Christian perspective. It is designed to reflect how God’s Word guides our behavior using interactive and multi-sensory activities. The goal is that students can then take these skills from the classroom into their homes, extracurricular activities, communities, and daily lives.
Topics for presentation include, but are not limited to, the following life skills:

The presentation will begin at 7:00 PM. A meal will be served prior to the presentation at 6:30 PM. Child care will be provided. There is no cost to attend the meal or the presentation, but please RSVP at http://www.newlife-wels.org to reserve a seat.
