Police Blotter: Aggravated Assault; Warrant Arrest

The Lake Zurich Police Department reports crimes from Aug. 29-Sept. 1.

Drugs

Cortney R. Ricci, 21, of 1037 Partridge Lane, Lake Zurich, was charged Aug. 29 with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia at her residence. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 26 court date.

Warrant

Cortney R. Ricci, 21, of 1037 Partridge Lane, Lake Zurich, was arrested Aug. 29 on a Cook County warrant for failure to appear. She already was in Lake Zurich police custody on a charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released after posting $500 cash bond pending a Sept. 21 court date.

Aggravated Assault

A woman reported Aug. 30 that an unknown man armed with a pistol entered her office on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. The man fled the area on foot. Police were unable to locate the man. Police are investigating the incident.

Traffic

Rafael Arreguin-Alvarez, 28, of 1938 Cambridge Unit 2A, Palatine, was charged Aug. 30 with no valid driver’s license near Routes 12 and 22. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Oct. 7 court date.
