Police Blotter: DUI, Suspended License Arrests

Alcohol

Slawomir R. Kida, 37, of 345 W. Asbury Drive, Round Lake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Jan. 8 near Routes 12 and 22. He also was cited with speeding and illegally squealing/screeching tires. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Feb. 6 court date.

Traffic

Julian L. Hampton, 20, of 27 E. Highland St., Hammond, Ind., was charged with driving while license suspended Jan. 8 near Route 12 and June Terrace. He also was cited with operating a vehicle without valid registration and failure to wear a safety belt. He was released on $150 cash bond pending a Feb. 17 court date.

Jessica C. Martinez, 23, of 6 Muirfield Court, Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving while license suspended Jan. 6 on the 100 block of East Main Street. She also was cited with passing a stopped school bus. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
