Police Blotter: Assault; Retail Theft; Traffic Arrests
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests from April 21 through April 23.

Traffic
Kathryn E. Kinsey, 26, of 1500 W. Walton, Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended April 22 on the 1000 block of South Rand Road. She also was cited with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a May 16 court date.
Lourdes L. Morales, 44, of 21709 W. Highland, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving while license suspended April 20 on the 21000 block of West Highland. She also was cited with having expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a June 1 court date.
Michael B. Adkins, 30, of 25777 W. Cook, Wauconda, was charged with driving while license suspended April 21 near Route 12 and Cuba Road. He also was cited with failure to wear a seat belt. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a June 1 court date.
Gloria I. Navarro, 25, of 1935 Orleans St., No. 2C, McHenry, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license April 21 near Ash and North Old Rand Road. She also was cited with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. She was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a June 1 court date.
Caitlin A. McCracken, 22, of 302 Hill St., Wauconda, was charged with driving while license suspended April 21 near Route 12 and Ela Road. She also was cited with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal. She was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a June 1 court date.
Marco A. Trujillo, 39, of 240 Whitney Road, No. 242, Lake Zurich, was charged with not having a valid driver’s license April 20 near Ash and North Old Rand Road. He also was cited with speeding. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a May 18 court date.
Jose Hernandez, 32, of 45 Oak St., No. 1, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving while license revoked April 20 on the 100 block of Butterfield Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a June 1 court date.
Assault
Ezequiel Garcia, 42, of 201 S. Buesching, No. 204, Lake Zurich, was charged with assault April 21 on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. Police said they received complaints that Garcia displayed a knife in a threatening manner, and that Garcia drove his vehicle toward children and again displayed the knife. He also was cited with reckless driving and driving while license suspended. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a June 1 court date.
Retail Theft
Margaret M. Ferguson, 51, of 574 S. Benton St., Palatine, was charged with retail theft April 20 on the 800 block of South Rand Road. Police said Ferguson took nearly $60 worth of merchandise into the store's bathroom and then attempted to return the items at customer service. She was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond pending a May 4 court date.
