Police Blotter: Business Burglarized; Drug Arrest
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests and crimes from April 7-9.

DUI
Daniel T. Iwicki, 19, of 21350 Highland Road, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving under the influence April 8 near Route 12 and Pheasant Ridge Road. He also was cited with improper lane use. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a May 7 court date.
Kimberly Pauley, 44, of 3806 W. Timothy, McHenry, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs April 7 near Route 12 and Pheasant Ridge Road. She also was cited with unlawful possession of a controlled substance-heroin, unlawful possession of a controlled substance-Xanax, driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use. She was held at the to await a bond hearing.
Traffic
Edgar Martinez, 22, of 4053 Jennifer Lane, No. 1A, Arlington Heights, was charged with driving while license suspended April 7 near Route 12 and Pheasant Ridge Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a May 18 court date.
Jamal C. Wooten, 22, of 616 N. Liberty St., Elgin, was charged with driving while license suspended April 6 near Route 12 and June Terrace. He also was cited with not having a rear registration plate light, not having valid registration, improper use of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a May 18 court date.
Retail Theft
Drew D. Lodarek, 18, of 22481 N. Strum St., Lake Zurich, was charged with retail theft April 8 on the 800 block of South Rand Road. He was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond pending a May 4 court date.
Criminal Damage to Property
An officer located a broken window at a business on the 500 block of Telser Road. The damage was estimated at $1,000.
Burglary
An individual reported April 9 that someone entered a business on the 400 block of North Rand Road and took alcohol and cash. The loss was estimated at $650.
