Police Blotter: Driving Without a Valid Drivers License, Stolen Beer

The Lake Zurich Police Department presents crimes from May 10-12.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Traffic Violations

Hector M. Garcia, 32, of 24 Golfview Road, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving without a valid drivers license May 10 at Summit and Miller Roads. He was also cited for using a cell phone in a school zone. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a June 1 court date.

Burglary

A resident of the 700 block of Red Bridge Road reported that an unknown individual stole several bottles of beer from a refrigerator in the resident's detached garage. Police are investigating the matter.
