Police Blotter: DUIs, Driving Without License

DUIS
Sabrina M. Selvaggio, 19, 270 Forest Place, Buffalo Grove, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, at 2:39 a.m., May 6, during a traffic stop on Route 12 at North Old Rand Road. Selvaggio was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content greater than .08, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of open alcohol and improper lane usage. Selvaggio was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond with a Waukegan court date of June 18.

On May 8, at 11:25 p.m., Adel M. Sadik, 67, who resides at 219 Lexington Avenue in Fox River Grove, was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 22 at W. Main Street in Lake Zurich. Sadik was charged with Wrong Way Driving, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Under the Influence with a B.A.C. result of .08 or More. Sadik was issued a Waukegan court date of June 11 and released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.
Driving Without a Valid License

Alexis Rodriguez, 22, 926 Buffalo Creek, Lake Zurich, was arrested during a traffic stop on Old Mill Grove Road at Millbrook Drive, May 6, at 7:40 p.m. Rodriguez was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Rodriguez was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of June 1.
On May 6, at 7:43 p.m., Ruben Martinez, 21, 3N251 Cardinal Street, Addison, was arrested pursuant to a traffic stop on Route 12 at June Terrace. Martinez was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license, operating a vehicle with a defective windshield and operating an uninsured vehicle. Martinez was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond with a Mundelein court date of June 1. Martinez was also issued a failure-to-appear warrant issued by DuPage County.
On May 9, at 6:14 p.m., Jessica Y. Flores, 30, who resides at 438 S. Buffalo Grove Road in Buffalo Grove, was arrested for driving with no valid driver’s license on Route 12 at June Terrace. Flores was involved in a traffic crash. Flores was charged with No Valid Driver’s License. Flores was issued a Mundelein court date of June 1 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
James F. Growel, 52, who resides at 313 Oak Ridge Drive in Darien, WI, was arrested for driving while driver’s license is suspended in the 400 block of Whitney Road in Lake Zurich, at 9:25 p.m., May 8. Growel was charged with Failure to Wear Seat Belt and Driving While Driver’s License is Suspended. Growel was issued a Mundelein court date of June 1 and released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.
Warrant Served
Alora J. Underwood, 20, who resides at 28600 Grass Lake Road #2A in Spring Grove, was arrested on a warrant on Route 12 at June Terrace, May 10 at 2:24 p.m.. Underwood was stopped due to her front seat passenger not wearing her safety belt. Underwood was wanted on an Aggravated Battery warrant out of Kane County. The warrant number is W12G4673 and the bond amount was set at $10,000, which 10 percent applies. Underwood was unable to post the necessary cash bond and was held at the Lake Zurich Police Department to await a bond hearing.
