Police Blotter: Lawnmower Stolen; Vehicle Burglarized
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests and crimes from March 26 to March 30.

DUI
James J. Kanzler, 53, of 12120 Keynedian Island, Naples, Fla., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs March 29 near Route 12 and Ela Road. He also was cited with unlawful possession of cannabis and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on $300 cash bond pending a May 7 court date.
Traffic
Tony J. Demaio, 31, of 560 Regency Drive, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license March 26 near Route 12 and South Old Rand Road. He also was cited with texting while driving. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an April 20 court date.
Dario Lara, 31, of 15.5 Ziegler Court, Elgin, was charged with driving while license suspended March 29 near Route 12 and Deerpath Road. He also was cited with operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a May 2 court date.
Criminal Damage to Property
A man reported March 25 that someone damaged his vehicle while it was parked on the 1100 block of Stanton Drive. The damage was estimated at $15.
Theft
A man reported March 25 that someone stole his lawnmower, valued at $250, from his yard on the 100 block of Willow Terrace.
Burglary to Motor Vehicle
A man reported March 27 that someone entered his unlocked vehicle while it was parked on the 100 block of Lakebreeze Court and took $350 worth of personal property.
