Police Blotter: Possessing A Firearm; Fleeing And Eluding
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests from July 19-22.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Traffic
Steven D. Johnson, 42, of 3624 West 70th St., Chicago, was charged with driving while license revoked July 18 near Maple and Grand Avenues. He also was cited with failure to report a traffic crash. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 2 court date.
James J. Panagakos, 45, of 52 Falcon Place, Westmont, was charged with driving while license suspended July 21 on the 600 block of South Rand Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Sept. 7 court date.

Possessing A Firearm
Raymond P. Zack, 74, of 25611 Lakeview Ave., Wauconda, was charged with possessing a firearm without a firearm owner's identification card July 20 near Route 12 and Country Club Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 29 court date.

Fleeing And Eluding
Christopher J. Lasota, 29, of 9550 Rainsford, Huntley, was charged with fleeing and eluding July 20 near Route 12 and Ela Road. He also was cited with operating a motorcycle on one wheel. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 5 court date.
