Police Blotter: Suspended Drivers License, Unlawful Use Of Weapon
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests from July 6-8.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Lake Zurich Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Traffic Violations
Cara M. Leptich, 31, of 3710 Buchanan, Johnsburg, was charged with driving while license revoked July 5 near Route 12 and Kenilworth Road. She was also cited for speeding. She was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 5 court date.
Jorge R. Martinez, 20, of 658 E. Dundee Road, Palatine, was charged with driving while license suspended July 6 near Route 12 and Cuba Road. He was also cited for failure to wear a safety belt. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Aug. 19 court date.

Unlawful Use Of A Weapon
Anthony J. Reitinger, III, 21, of 35 N. Buesching Road No. 112, Lake Zurich, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon July 7 on the 100 block of North Buesching Road. Police were called to the area on a report of a suspicious person. Police said they discovered a loaded pistol in Reitinger's waistband. He was released after posting $160 cash and given a July 25 court date.
