Police Blotter: Suspended License, Speeding in a School Zone

Alcohol
David R. Nowak, 35, of 1071 Dogwood Court, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Oct. 2 at Route 12 and Honey Lake Road. He was also cited with driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with expired registration and operating a vehicle with no rear registration light. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Nov. 7 court date.

Traffic
Jose F. Zumba, 29, of 2920 North Hamlin Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended Sept. 30 near Cuba Road and Inglenook Lane. He also was cited with speeding in a school zone and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Nov. 2 court date.
