Police Blotter: Traffic Arrests; Vehicles Damaged
The Lake Zurich Police Department reports arrests and crimes from Jan. 5 and 6.

Traffic
Gvidas Rudys, 45, of 557 Ascot Court, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving while license revoked Jan. 5 near Route 12 and Long Grove Road. Rudys also was cited with operating a vehicle with expired registration and operating an uninsured vehicle. Rudys was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond pending a Feb. 1 court date.
Allan Jay E. Dizon, 34, of 530 Pheasant Ridge Drive, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license Jan. 5 on the 200 block of Mohawk Trail. He also was cited with failure to wear a safety belt. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Feb. 1 court date.
Alfonso I. Sanchez, 25, of 211 Sunrise, No. 4, Lake Zurich, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license Jan. 6 near Route 12 and Country Club Road. He also was cited with improper lane use. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Feb. 1 court date.

Criminal Damage
A man reported Jan. 4 that someone broke the side mirror on his vehicle while it was parked on the 300 block of Denberry Drive. Damage was estimated at $250.
A man reported Jan. 5 that someone scratched both sides of his vehicle while it was parked on the 100 block of East Main Street. Police are investigating.

Burglary
A man reported Jan. 4 that someone broke a window on his vehicle while it was parked on the 200 block of Alpine Drive. The damage was estimated at $250.
Theft
An individual reported Jan. 5 that someone stole an iPhone from the restroom on the 1000 block of Old McHenry Road.
