The Lake Zurich Police Department reports crimes from July 6-8.

Burglary
A man reported July 6 that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and removed tools while the vehicle was parked on the 100 block of Lorraine Drive. The items were valued at $300. Police are investigating the matter.

Theft
A resident reported July 5 that someone stole clothing and camping chairs from her residence on the 400 block of Whitney Road. The items were valued at $300. Police are investigating the matter.
A woman reported July 6 that someone took her cell phone that she had lost in the area of Routes 12 and 22. The phone was valued at $600. Police are investigating the matter.

Criminal Damage
A woman reported July 6 that someone damaged her vehicle by scratching the paint while it was parked on the 200 block of South Buesching Road. Damage was estimated at $150. Police are investigating the matter.
