Special Enforcement Nets Several Arrests, Tickets
Enforcement effort was held Nov. 14-27.
Lake Zurich Police issued 55 safety belt citations and apprehended two fugitives during its recent Click It or Ticket/Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over special enforcement effort.
The and the Illinois Department of Transportation's Division of Traffic Safety paired up for the effort, which took place from Nov. 14-27.
During the enforcement, police:
- Issued three child safety seat citations
- Made six arrests for driving under the influence
- Made one felony arrest
- Recovered one stolen vehicle
- Made three arrests for having suspended/revoked drivers licenses
- Issued 18 speeding tickets
- Ticketed five uninsured motorists
- Made two drug arrests
