Stars and Cars coming to Lake County

Tickets are still available for Stars and Cars presented by Fifth Third Bank on Oct. 16 at Greenbelt Cultural Center in North Chicago.
Join honorary chair Brian McCaskey, Chicago Bears senior director of business development, for this annual event to benefit Northern Illinois Food Bank. Attendees will have the opportunity to view classic automobiles from Northshore Sportscars, meet local celebrities and enjoy tastings from top restaurants, all while helping support Northern Illinois Food Bank’s mission of solving hunger.
Stars and Cars will take place from 6-10 p.m. on Oct. 16 at Greenbelt Cultural Center, 1215 Green Bay Rd., North Chicago. A silent auction is also part of the event, with guests welcome to bid on attractive auction items such as one year of dry-cleaning service from CD One Price Cleaners in Deerfield, an in-home chef tasting from Designed Cuisine, a downtown Chicago pub history tour for 20 from History On Tap, travel packages, sports memorabilia and more.
