Our country dealt with a number of dilemmas in the ’60s. We
faced racial inequality and took steps to eradicate it. We questioned whether
fighting a war in Vietnam really made us more secure and then protested against those who put young lives at risk. The Greatest Generation that saved the world during WWII confronted their children, who had a very different view of what needed to be saved. Gary Midkiff will present this compelling program on a turbulent decade in American history.
