Township Meeting, Jazz Concert This Week

Here's a look at five events coming up this week:

• The  will hold its kickoff event from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 29. The event will be held at The Relationship Center, 109 S. Main St., Wauconda. For more information, call the American Cancer Society at 1-847-317-0025.

•  Jazz Band will hold a concert from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 29. The event will be held in the performing arts center.

• The  will host the "1972 Historic Cooking" program Feb. 29 as part of its 40th anniversary celebration. The program will feature tastings of fondue, hot Dr. Pepper served in a crock-pot and other treats. • The  Board will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. March 1. Items on the agenda include the consideration of the tentative budget, and possible action to set guidelines and fees for the community center.
