8U Lemont Lightning Wins Westside of Oak Lawn Tournament

The 8U Lemont Lightning won their second tournament of the year going 6-0 in their age bracket. The boys are 2 for 2 in tournament play, winning their first tournament at the Chicago Sunday League’s Memorial Day followed by this past week’s tournament in Oak Lawn. They defeated Evergreen Park who was also undefeated coming into the final game by a 7-1 score. They were 11-0 in tournament play and finished at a remarkable 20-1 record in travel baseball.
