All Aboard: Commuter Parking Permits On Sale Soon

Parking permits for commuters who ride METRA's Heritage Corridor Line from Lemont will go on sale from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Lemont Village Hall’s temporary location at , 410 McCarthy Road.

Each commuter is limited to the purchase of one permit, and permits will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicap permits will be available for qualifying riders.

Commuter parking permit fees are as follows:  $50 for one quarter; $98.50 for six months; $147 for three quarters; and $194 for a full year.

Commuters may also purchase a daily parking permit for $1 at the in the METRA lot at 101 Main St. in downtown Lemont.
