LEMONT, IL — After severe storms and a tornado warning on Monday, over 4,400 were originally without power in Lemont.
Outages seem mostly focused on the east side of town, with outages reported east of State Street and off of McCarthy Road.
Restoration continues Monday afternoon.
A tornado warning was issued in Lemont until 1:15 p.m. Monday. A severe storm watch also remains in effect for Cook County until 7 p.m.
The Village also canceled its Monday night Board meeting, and Village Hall is closed the rest of the day due to power outages.
