Giving Back to Lemont has been a collaborative effort between businesses, musicians, and the Lemont community to raise funds and collect food for both of our Lemont Food Pantries for the past 11 years. This is the 12th straight year continuing to support both of the Lemont Open Food Pantries, more than a decade of rallying support for our local food pantries!!!!

"Giving Back to Lemont" will once again offer 5 hours of free music on Saturday July 27th from 4:00-9:00pm on the grassy area next to Next Mex (319 Front St., Lemont). This event has raised more than $34,000 and rallied truck loads of food over the past 11 years. All of this could not be possible without the support of Next Mex; the generosity of the musicians who offer their time, effort, and talents; the donations of the many raffle items from the Lemont businesses; the time and effort of the volunteers who make it all happen; and the overwhelming support of all of those who show up to enjoy the music and support our pantries! Bring your chairs, blankets, coolers, and get ready to camp out for 5 hours of free music and fun!
Come ready to purchase raffle tickets (6/$5) that will enter you into the prizes and 50/50 raffle!!! There are many amazing prizes to be raffled PLUS the 50/50 raffle. Your ticket enters you in all of those! Winner for the 50/50 does not need be present to win! You will also be able to drop off food donations and monetary donations, or make donations through the Hope and Friendship Foundation website credit card or PayPal- www.hopeandfriendshipfoundation.com (or use QR code) that will all be equally divided between both of our Lemont Food Pantries. All donations received to the Hope and Friendship website/PayPal on Saturday July 27th and Sunday July 28th will be donated to the Lemont Food Pantries.

Some of the gold items requested by our pantries are: canned meats & pastas; boxed meal helpers; microwavable foods; coffee; paper products, cleaning products and personal care items; peanut butter & jelly.

Or you can offer any monetary donation at the event, or through the Hope and Friendship website, and allow our pantries to purchase fresh food cards to assist those in need in our Lemont community.
