Notes.
Yes we need more!
What to write?
Quotes, positive words, Bible verses, an “You are in the thoughts and heart of a friend.”
This is as simple as putting some kind words on a plain sheet of quarter sheet of paper that will warm a heart of one who is either homeless, homebound, or feeling like the world has no idea they are alive and lonely.

I’m really excited that Hope and Friendship’s 2016 Year of Events and Outreaches kicks off with this. How important it is to reach into the sadness, loneliness, and emptiness of a life and put just a bit of warmth, hope, love and friendship in it even if just for the moment. So many of our seniors and the homeless that have received these lunches/notes over the past 8 years have told me that they still carry/have these notes.
See you tomorrow to make some ripples of peace & love!!!
