Bank Robbery Suspect In Custody: Lemont Police
Detectives were able to identify a suspect in the robbery which occurred at the TCF Bank in Jewel on State Street on June 14.

LEMONT, IL — A suspect is in custody after a bank in Lemont was robbed on June 14. After an investigation, Lemont Police detectives were able to identify a suspect in the robbery which occurred at the TCF Bank in Jewel on State Street, police said.
A suspect has been taken into custody, and police will update with his identification and more details soon.
The robbery happened around 10 a.m. June 14, and Chief of Police Marc Maton told Patch there was no handgun displayed during the robbery. The suspect drove away in a silver vehicle, after the dye pack in the cash he stole activated.
