Barks-giving Puppy Adoption Event Planned Saturday

LEMONT, IL — Ruby Whiskers Animal Rescue will hold its first puppy adoption event, Barks-giving, on Saturday at the Lemont Metra station, 101 Main St.

Adoptions will be done on-site at the event, which runs from 2 to 5:30 p.m. There will also be games and other festivities for all ages.

The rescue said that 11 puppies will be at the event, as well as three or four adult dogs. None of the dogs have health concerns.
