Battery, Car Burglary, Retail Theft: Lemont Arrests

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

February 26

• Steve Moore, 34, of the 500 block of Briarcliffe Drive, was arrested for battery at 1:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Canal Street. Moore was issued an April 30 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Frederick Lauer, 23, of the 0-100 block of East Logan Street, was arrested for battery at 11:40 a.m. in the 300 block of Canal Street. Lauer was issued an April 30 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

February 27

• Dorris Cooper, 55, of Bolingbrook, was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked and improper use of registration at 10:46 a.m. at Archer and State Street. Cooper was issued a March 23 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Jakub Witkowski, 20, of the 800 block of Schultz Street, was arrested for burglary to motor vehicle at 11:11 p.m. in the 400 block of Illinois Street. Witkowski appeared at the Bridgeview Court House for a Bond Hearing.

February 28

• John Peretti, 27, of Bridgeview, was arrested for retail theft at 3:30 p.m. in the 12700 block of Archer Avenue. Peretti was issued a March 27 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
