Chalk It Up Planned In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Chalk It Up Lemont, a chalk art contest, will be held the weekend of Sept. 4-Sept. 7 at Lemont Park District. According to the park district event page, there will be five age groups with 10 spaces per age group.

The event is free, and there will be various prizes to local businesses and prize baskets.

Participants will draw their art on a standard sidewalk square size, no bigger than 5 feet by 5 feet. You will then take a picture of your art and send it to photos@lemontparks.org no later than noon on Sept. 8.
