Coronavirus: Lemont Food Pantries Need Donations

There are three food pantries in Lemont: at the township offices, Bethany Lutheran Church, and Lemont United Methodist Church.

LEMONT, IL — Due to the difficulties caused by the coronavirus, there has been an increase in need in the Lemont community, and the food pantries are seeking specific donations.

In addition to the already operating Lemont food pantries, Lemont Township has set up a temporary food bank at its offices at 1115 Warner Ave. The other two pantries are located at Bethany Lutheran Church, 500 Lemont St.; and at Lemont United Methodist Church, 25 W. Custer St.

"If you are out replenishing your needs, please consider dropping off an item listed below to help the residents who are unable to shop during this crisis," the township said.
