Coronavirus: Plant Sale, Spring Recycling Event Canceled
Due to the stay-at-home order extension, several May events have been canceled in Lemont.
LEMONT, IL — With the extension of the stay-at-home order now until May 30, additional events planned in Lemont have been canceled. At the April 27 village board meeting, Mayor John Egofske said all May events have been or should be canceled.
"We will continue to evaluate events during the summer," Egofske said.
"A lot of these events take several weeks in advance, obviously to plan, but also to cancel," Egofske said. "Some of these events may have to be canceled well in advance of their date."
