Coronavirus: Police Department Seeks Donations Of Supplies

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Police Department is asking for donations of supplies and personal protective equipment to help protect their officers. The department said it is having issues getting much-needed gloves, hand sanitizer and disposable no-contact thermometers.

According to the department, the supplies are all sold out or delayed for the next month.

If you have items to donate, you can drop them off at the Lemont Police Department at 14600 127th St.

On its Facebook page, the department shared some supplies given by Fifth Third Bank. The donation included coveralls, masks and other personal protective equipment.
