Cultural Event

Please join us for a cultural event September 12th at 11am at The Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows to support our mission. We will be welcoming the Students of the Nataraj Dance Academy preforming Indian Classical Dance; Gauri Jog, Kathak dancer and story teller; Salini Konikkat, Singer; Rabindra Chakraborty, Story Teller; and Kanchi Nayaka, Singer.

Swami Ishatmananda will give the Welcoming address. Swami Sridharanandaji, Head of the Vedanta Centre of Sydney will be the Guest of Honor and will give a Special Lecture. Dr. Elizabeth Davenport will give a special address.

The menu includes Indian cuisine, Continental and America dishes. Coffee and tea will also be served.

The Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago, established in 1930, is dedicated to bringing home the eternal message of Vedanta to humanity without discriminating about caste, culture, gender, language, nationality, or religion.
