Districts 210, 113A Cancel After-School Activities Due To Weather

For Cook County, the winter weather advisory expires at midnight Tuesday.

LEMONT, IL — A winter weather advisory has several schools in the area canceling after-school activities and some even are releasing students early. In Lemont, District 113A has canceled all after-school clubs, sports and activities at Oakwood, River Valley and Old Quarry.

Lemont High School has also canceled all after-school activities, but still planned on holding the Board of Education meeting.

Ice accumulations of more than one-tenth of an inch are expected for much of the area, according to the NWS. The winter weather could impact the Tuesday evening commute, and you should plan on slippery road conditions. For Cook County, the winter weather advisory expires at midnight Tuesday.
