Downtown Lemont Walking Tour Hosted By Historical Society
The tour will share about the history of Lemont's buildings and people.

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Area Historical Society will host a downtown Lemont walking tour on May 6.
If you're interested in learning more about the history of Lemont's buildings and people, you can meet at the historical society museum, 306 Lemont St., at 10 a.m. on May 6.
Historical photos will also be shown during the tour, giving an image of what Lemont looked like in the 1900s.

It is $10 per adult, $7 for seniors and $5 per child. The tour will end at 11:30 a.m., and the walk is about 3/4 of a mile and traverses one railroad crossing and two flights of stairs.
You must pay with cash or check only; you can pay at the tour.
