Drug Possession, Retail Theft: Lemont Police Reports

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

April 11

• Dominykas Merkelis, 24, of the 900 block of State Street, was charged with possession of drug equipment, possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended and failure to display registration (front) at 8:02 p.m. following a traffic stop at Freehauf and State streets. Merkelis was issued a May 27 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

April 12

• Joseph Lee, 27, was charged with two counts of retail theft at 2:03 p.m. following an incident in the 1100 block of State Street. Lee was issued a June 30 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
• Leroy Burton, 52, was charged with two counts of retail theft at 2:03 p.m. following an incident in the 1100 block of State Street. Burton was issued a June 30 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
