#Elliestrong Fundraiser Supports Old Quarry Teacher Fighting Cancer
The fourth annual fundraiser for the nonprofit will benefit Jenna Treanor, the music teacher at OQMS.
LEMONT, IL — The #Elliestrong Forever Foundation will hold its fourth annual fundraiser on Feb. 11 at Next Mex in downtown Lemont.
The nonprofit was created in memory of Ellie Cuiching, who died in 2019 from a brain tumor she had battled for several years. Her mom, Kyle Cuiching, created #Elliestrong Forever Foundation to help local families who have been affected by cancer.
This year's fundraiser will benefit Jenna Treanor and her family. Treanor is the music teacher at Old Quarry Middle School in Lemont.

"If you've never had the pleasure of meeting Jenna, then you should know that she is a kind-hearted and amazing person. Jenna is a staple in the Lemont community, and the first to volunteer to help those in need," Kyle told Patch.
Treanor also produces the musicals at Old Quarry.

"Ellie was part of her first performance, and I'm blessed every day for the impact she had on Ellie's life," Kyle said. "Not only did she make a difference in the life of Ellie, but through her volunteering and as a teacher in Lemont, she has made a difference in the lives of hundreds of our community's youth."
The fundraiser will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. on Feb. 11 at Next Mex, 319 Front St. Tickets for the event are $60 per person (21 and older), and includes a buffet and open bar.
There will also be live music, silent auctions, raffles and split the pot.
For those who can't make the event, you can still donate raffle or auction items by contacting elliestrongforever@gmail.com.
