Everest Academy 7^th Grade Basketball Wins St. Jude Joliet Tournament

Lemont, IL: The 7^th grade Everest Academy Knights basketball team was victorious in their first showing at the St. Jude Joliet Annual Basketball Tournament. The Knights won the final game against St. Paul Joliet last weekend in their final tournament of the season, with wins against both SS. Cyril & Methodius and St. Mary’s Mokena leading up to the final victory.

“I am very proud of our boys, and their total team effort. They have really improved as a group and play with tremendous energy, spirit, and the will to win”, says head coach Dave Henze. Congratulations to both David Auw and Seamus Toler for receiving awards for All Tournament players. Thank you to St. Jude Joliet for hosting a fantastic tournament and to all the Everest basketball teams for their hard work and success this season. Go Knights!
