Fall Household Recycling Event Planned In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Environmental Commission will hold its fall household recycling event on Oct. 3. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Metra lot, 101 Main St.

According to a post on the Village's Facebook page, the following will be offered: motor oil recycling, document disposal, electronics recycling, prescription medication collection, recycle toner cartridge, printer inks and cell phones, CFL light bulb collection, battery collection, recycle glasses/hearing aids, bicycle recycling and food collection for the food pantries.

If you are dropping off unused prescription drugs; needles, liquids or creams will not be accepted. EPI pens will also not be accepted.
