Families Celebrate New Year Early at Lemont CORE

Nearly 600 people flocked to The CORE on December 31, 2015, to ring in the New Year twelve hours early. The Lemont Park District’s “FREE Family Fun New Year’s Eve Celebration at The CORE” has grown to be very popular Lemont tradition since its inaugural event back in 2010. Complete with party favors, fun games, crafts, a jumpie castle and a rockin’ DJ, at noon thousands of balloons ascended from the rafters as guests of all ages counted down to “2016.” The festivities were topped off with a free pizza lunch complete with salad, cookies and lemonade. This is a perfect way to celebrate New Year’s Eve for families with small children that are unable to stay up until midnight.

Along with welcoming in 2016, The Lemont Park District’s CORE is also celebrating the District’s 50th Anniversary with a great promo!
