Family Medicine Doctor Joins Practice In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Sushma Nagabhairava, M.D., board certified family medicine physician, has recently joined Dr. Ilah Heller-Bair with Prairie Glen Primary Care located in the Silver Cross Professional Building in Lemont. According to the hospital, Dr. Nagabhairava has a special interest in providing preventative care services, addressing various women’s issues, and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

The hospital said she attended medical school at Government Medical College in Anantapur, India. Dr. Nagabhairava completed her family medicine residency at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford. During her residency, she was a member of the Medicine and Pediatric and Quality Assurance committees. In 2014 and 2015, Dr. Nagabhairava was appointed Medical Director of Community Health Partnership of Illinois providing primary health care for men, women and children across northern and central Illinois serving over 8,000 agricultural workers and their family members.

According to the hospital, before joining Prairie Glen Primary Care, Dr. Nagabhairava cared for patients at Suburban Health Care Associates in Plainfield.
