Feel like jumping in on an act of kindness? Mission Stay Work for some near Centurion Friends this weekend
You did it again! You heard the need and you stepped forth. I just love you!!!
Because I had equal amount available for Fri & Sat I went to another friend's home (a home bound couple in their upper 90s- haven't left their home in 2 years even Dr's come to them) and surprised them with the news I had friends who wanted to help clean up the dead branches, leaves and wash their windows so they can at least see a beautiful outside. They were thrilled. The wife was just beside herself and said this was the best surprise and gift!
So I will lead a team on Friday at 1:30-3:30 (latest) at our cutest couple's (with a cumulative age of 192) home (yard clean up, gifting them with some potted plants for their porch and some fresh cut to bring some outdoor beauty in their home, some baked goods (the wife LOVES sweets!) and washing their windows) and a team from 1:30-3:30 (latest) on Saturday at our 99 year old friend's home (yard work, clean up leaves/branches, clean the branches off the roof and pretty up the outdoors plus give her a cake, cards (have any kids that would like to write some?) and sing happy birthday to her. They live around the corner from one another and have known each other all of their lives. Our historic community is amazing. Seize the chance to celebrate and get to know our amazing "been here all their life" Lemont seniors. Their stories are amazing!

I haven't even looked at the weather because this is a need that I know He has put before us so it doesn't matter what the weather is- we will be bringing a great gift to our friend's homes this weekend and the forecast is sunny with a chance of miraculous amazing healing love. Thank you so much. I've been walking on air today reminded once again what an amazing community I have been blessed to live in. May God bless our corner of the world and all who are in it!
