Forge Fest Celebrates The Forge: Lemont Quarries Third Birthday

The fest includes a fireworks show, live music, food trucks, foam party and more.

LEMONT, IL — The Forge: Lemont Quarries will host Forge Fest July 14-16, celebrating the outdoor adventure park's third birthday.

Admission is free, and the fest will feature live music, fireworks and family activities. Some park activities still require a fee.

On Friday, the park will hold a "Glow in the Park" experience from 7:30 to 11 p.m., which features climbing and ziplining with cosmic lights illuminating the climbing towers. The park will also hold its 15K twilight bike race on Friday, starting at 6 p.m. Also 10K and 5K trial runs will begin at 8:15 p.m.

Saturday will feature free entry, and a line-up of food trucks, live music and more. "Maggie Speaks" will perform at 6 p.m., and fireworks will follow after sunset. Guests can bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the show, according to the park.

On Sunday, The Forge will host a family fun day, featuring a foam party, acrobat show, photo booth, pet rescue, therapy ponies, workshops and activities. Food trucks and live music will round out the festivities.
