The Forge: Lemont Quarries Cancels St. Patrick's Festival

LEMONT, IL — The Forge: Lemont Quarries has cancelled its St. Patrick's Festival, originally planned for Saturday, the outdoor adventure park said on its Facebook.

"The nature of the performances, workshops, and activities, are incompatible with the unusually low temps and high winds forecasted and would not be the incredible experience we had planned for you," the business wrote on its Facebook. "Due to these circumstances and the overall guest experience, we've decided to cancel the event."

The outdoor adventure park will still host its planned trail half and quarter marathon, Liam's Scavenger Hunt and explorer activities.
