The Forge: Lemont Quarries will offer several different programs and events for park goers this fall.
LEMONT, IL — The Forge: Lemont Quarries will offer several different programs and events for park goers this fall, including a zombie laser tag experience, concerts and a movie. You can find more information about the events below:
- Zombie Apocalypse: Oct. 9 - 31: Immerse yourself in the one-of-a-kind, live action, Tactical Laser Tag experience. You'll find yourself in a post-apocalyptic world where a zombie outbreak has run rampant and wreaked havoc. The game will consist of two teams battling against each other while simultaneously fending off zombies. It is $35 per person; and each game lasts about 45 minutes, with four sessions per night at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Ages 8 and up. You can reserve your spot online.
- Saturday Music in the Park: The free concert series will have several offerings this fall. To ensure a safe and socially distanced environment, the park has implemented a grid system on our lawn to ensure that you are able to maintain a 6-foot distance from others while enjoying live music. Simmer Down Concert Festival (reggae DJs, live band) will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sept 26; and Soul Daddy (rock and soul music) will play from 5 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 3. The gates open for each event 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time; and seating is first come, first serve
- Saturday Night Movies in the Park: "Hocus Pocus" will be shown at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10. The event is free; and the gates open for each event 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Seating is first come, first serve; four guests per social distanced square, but the park said it is flexible with younger children.
