Frigid 5K Planned In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — If you're looking to stay active in the winter, Lemont Park District's Frigid 5K race can help with that. The race will be held at 8 a.m. Dec. 8 at the Centennial campus, 16028 127th St.

Runners can wear their best ugly sweaters or holiday gear, the park district said. After the race, there will be a hot chocolate bar, DJ and refreshments.

Awards will be given to the top three runners in each age category, men and women. The registration deadline is Nov. 29.
