Get a Sneak Peek Inside 'Haunted Central'
Catch a glimpse of some of the haunted fun ahead.

When the lights go out at Central School Friday and Saturday, the halls will come alive with the undead.
The school, 410 McCarthy Rd., will be transformed into a haunted house, sponsored by District 113A, 113A Education Foundation, and Hope and Friendship Foundation.

- Friday, Oct. 24 from 7 to 9 pm, $10 for adults and $5 for children
- Saturday, Oct. 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. , $5 for adults and children
- Saturday, Oct. 25, 7 to 10 p.m., $10 for adults and $5 for children
The event is coordinated by Dr. Courtney Orzel, Cindy Kelly, Michelle Nevin, Terri O’Neill-Borders, Pat Crean, and the haunted house is created by roughly 20 volunteers.
“The school board came up with this idea with two purposes in mind. We wanted to host an event that would attract the families of Lemont as well as allow us to raise money for some wonderful organizations,” said District 113A Board President Cindy Kelly.

Room 5: Demented Classroom, by SD 113A Teachers and Staff

Room 7: Circus Room, LHS Drama Club and NHS
Room 8: Science Classroom by the LHS Science Department, Saturday 2 to 4 p.m. only
Room 9: Beauty School, by Nail Inn
Corridor: Where’s Mommy, by Dave Molitor’s and Cindy Kelly’s families
Room 10: Detention Room, by the SD 113a Board and Mike Janik
Room 11: Bus Barn, by SD 113A Bus Drivers
Room 12: Disorientation, by SD 113A teacher Jack Williams and friends
Library: Labyrinth, by Russ Casper of Aspen Auto Body & Mike Aurileo
Room 18: Cafeteria Food, by SD 113A teachers/Michelle Nevin
Room 15: Torture Chamber, by Mike Janik And Paul Kelly
