LEMONT, IL — Lotus Design and Development held its groundbreaking ceremony Friday for Marbella of Lemont.
The new development will be built on the site of the former Peterson's Hardware in downtown Lemont. Pre-construction and digging has been happening at the site for several weeks; the project was approved earlier this year by the Village Board.
The building will include 79 units, marketed as one and two-bedroom luxury apartments, coming in 2024. Resident amenities will include a fitness center, yoga and meditation lounge, EV charging stations and an outdoor sundeck, according to the developer's website.
