Lemont has two food pantries that assist more than 100 households here in our community living at 185% poverty level, pantry clients are offered two stops per month to receive from the donations offered of non-perishable items, paper products, cleaning products, and personal care items. The pantries are housed and volunteer run at Bethany Lutheran Church and Lemont United Methodist Church. Our Lemont Food Pantries have been a staple of support in our community for more than 50 years and so very needed and appreciated by those who are living paycheck to paycheck. Your donations fill a void and meet a most basic need that we can, have and hopefully will continue to meet.
