Hope and Friendship to bring the spirit of Christmas in song

Mission Stay Caroling to be held on Thursday December 19th 6-8pm bringing gift of Christmas spirit through our community

Friends of Hope and Friendship Foundation have gathered for the past 8 years and arrived at homes to help seniors, disabled, those who have lost loved ones, and those who are physically struggling with their yard work giving the gift of hands and feet to engage in Mission Stay Saturdays, putting hands, feet and hearts to work in local mission work.

On Thursday Dec 19th I am hoping some will join me to visit those homes to arrive at these front doors and offer the gift of Christmas love in song for our annual Mission Stay Caroling Night.

We have done this for the past 4 years and each year is more impactful and more beautiful. Those we are giving this gift of Christmas too are so moved by your offering of time, effort and beauty of the season.

You do not have to be a good singer! You just need to want to bring love and light to someone who is struggling with moving through this holiday season.

Parents and adults are needed to help transport those who do not have a ride, bring some young neighbors with you to help them appreciate what the gift of Christmas really is.
We will gather at 6pm at the Lemont Police Department, and leave by 6:15 for our first stop.

Please bring a flashlight if you can. We'll hold it as we sing making our group of Christmas angels glow :-)

We need donations of baked goods! We offer a plates and bags of goodies to those we sing to and of course have some as a reward at the end of the night of spreading Christmas love and song for all of us!
